Christ College

It was Wednesday 16 and ten year seven's got picked to go to Christ College..

.. The school was so flash, it felt like i was the odd one out. We walked into the school and got little goody bags and stickers. It was until all the schools were there to start the program. A guy named Cam Calkeon came up to the stage and told us why we were here.

We got separated into groups, ( i was in Apiata ) and moved on. Me Narnya and Faith were with this funny guy, his name was Phil. ( But everyone calls him Puberty Man! )

The food was my favourite part of the day. There was biscuits, juice and savouries. But the time we got to the food, most of it was gone!!

I was proud that i got chosen to come along. But it was time to say goodbye.

The Adventures Of Orana Wildlife Park

🐾
We just jumped onto the 🚌 to go Orana Park, and it was full of noise. I sat next to Kyra and Lily-Ray and we were playing 🃏. None of us knew who won the game cause when we got there, we had to get into our groups. I was in 3W with Meadow And Mikayla. After that we got to have something to eat 🍲, while we were eating, there was a 👧 that worked there and she told us all the rules and whats right and wrong. Finally we got to see the animals. First we walked over to the 🦍. There were three massive 🦍 eating fruits and veges. There names where Fataki, Fuzu and Mahali. The 👧 told us that you can recycle old 📱 to help the 🦍. Then we went to 👀 the Siamang Gibbon at the great ape centre. There were little activities and a height chart that shows if you are the height of a Gorilla, Orangutan or a Gibbon. We sat 🔇 while listening to the Siamang Gibbon. Her song was really 📢. The 👧 was telling us about her song and what she sang it for. Next was the Giraffes. They were so tall, they were taller than one of the trees. We had to sit down and talk about what to do when feeding the giraffes. This was the exciting part, we got to feed the giraffes. The 👧 gave us some 🌿 to feed the giraffes with. We walked in a line to get up to the giraffes. While we were feeding the giraffes it was hard to hold onto the 🌿 cause every time we would feed the giraffes, they would pull it really hard to get the leaves of the stick. Then we walked over to the Zebras, the 🐂 and near the lemurs. Did you know that the female lemur is the boss of male lemurs. We had lunch back at the food place and it was🔥. A few minutes later, we looked at the Ringed Tailed Lemurs, the Reptiles 🐊🐍🐉 and the nz 🐦. The reptiles were all over the place. We got to see the kiwi's up close. The kiwi 🏠 was really dark.

Business & Enterprise

Business & Enterprise

On the 5th of July, we had B&E. There were different kind of stuff like food, decorations and creations that people have made. Our team was the ROCKIN FOOD! We had Maori and Pacific rocks, Marshmallow Sticks and lastly S'mores.

It was cool that we got to make stuff and sell them to people, but it was kinda boring that we had to sit there all day waiting for people to buy our stuff. Sometimes we would take turns serving the stuff, and sometime we would go on break and buy or look at the stuff.
My favorite part of the market day was EATING FOOD!
But my least favorite part of the day was when people would come to our store and stand there and then they would just walk away.
But the most important thing is we had fun.

Putaiao - Experiments

   Static Energy

Tools
-Bottle cap/glue cap 1
-Straw 1
Instructions
The first thing to do is to grab your cap and put is on a flat surface. Then use your straw and rub it on a piece of clothing or your hair. After that put the straw in the middle of the cap and then use your finger to attract the straw. The straw will start to follow your finger without it touching. The positive and negative energy will attract each other and will use a balanced force.
