Hunger Games - Rich vs Poor

What are the differences between district 12 and the capital's clothes?
has no color, poorly faded.
What was the music like?
depressing
What is the capital like?
loud, posh. futuristic. Weird taste in style, very colorful
How did they react when primrose was chosen?
their faces were dark, open moths as they turn heads. they gaze at her while the Light is flown onto her face to make her stand out. Ifi was very open, full of color, she knew what she was doing. That scene uses a close up to see what everyone's reaction was. they use the same shot when ifi lip syncs what the speaker was saying.
What can people do to get extra food?
they are secretly hunting and selling dead animals to get money since they are a poor village.
what does the word tribute mean?
an act, statement, or gift that is intended to show gratitude, respect, or admiration
why is the bow the weapon katniss uses?
that's her main weapon shes been using since the beginning.
compare the tv show in the capital?
they make it look like the capital is very bright. they have four different scenes. the hunger games keep the population in order between each district. they keep everything in tack, everything has to be perfect for the audience.
why it's unfair.
one team could have the experience, while the others don't know what to do. if the game that unfair id would kill myself than getting killed unfairly.
what kind of technique it this.
shaky footage, cut to cut, close-ups, slow shot, background music coming in, heaps of montage. making it look like it real, thinking we are inside the film.
three-finger salute.
BLM (black lives matter)
they are each going into the room to show everyone what they've got. katniss misses and the audience seems to disprove. so she shows them what's up, pointing the arrow to one of their head, she aims and shoots at the apple and everyone stops with nothing but shock. they end up quite. this scene shows a high angle to show that the people on top are better than katniss which is down bottom.
Struggle overpower-
The difference between district 12 and the capital is their appearances between the two. District 12 has a lack of hygiene as they have very little resources, while the capital seems very colorful but their city is dark as district 12. Their buildings are made out of metal instead of colorful materials. Katniss has a massive roll in being part of the 74th hunger games and she ends up being well known towards the capital and the districts.
Tribute
Tributes are residents of the 12 districts of Panem who are forced/volunteered to participate in an annual Hunger Games. Except in special cases, such as for Quarter Quells, twenty-four children between the ages of 12 and 18 are chosen at random. Every district must give two tributes, a girl and a boy.
Reaping
Reaping is an annual event that takes place in every district before each Hunger Games, where the tributes of the upcoming Games are chosen. Each district's escort randomly chooses the name of one male and one female tribute from two separate glass balls.

Phone addiction paragraph

State your point-
some researchers believe that there is a high risk between their phone and addiction that can lead to mental health problems.
Why it matters-
when you spend more time on social media or playing games than interacting with real people, or you can't stop yourself from non-stop checking your messages and social media.
Evidence-
Such as gaming, gambling, online shopping, or bidding on auction sites like eBay can often lead to financial and job-related problems.
Sum up-
For many people, social interaction stimulates the release of dopamine. Because so many people use their phones as tools of social interaction, they cant have it, they go crazy

Technology paragraph

Over the years, technology has revolutionized our world and daily lives.

Services like Facebook and Instagram have become a big part of our everyday lives. These sites allow people to see a lot of information and photos at once and are enjoyable by design. When you upload a photo to the internet, it doesn't simply just go away. It stays for a long time. This means you can use technology to store memories that are important to you.

Phones were made to contact others and text while on the go. Tvś helps with the news and reports back to you, same as the weather so you know what to wear for the day. computers were for business and writing letters.

The inter has changed business, education, government, healthcare, and in ways in which we interact with our loved ones. Nuclear energy is also harnessed our food. Engineers have completely changed the world from modern houses, bridges, space, travel, cars, and the latest mobile technology.
