Infected

The man leans into you. There is a dark red almost black color to the whites of his eye. He is so close his nose is almost touching your nose. You can feel his breath when he says "We all have it here. We are all infected"

After that incident, everyone has gone into isolation. Malls are dead silent, roads look like they've never been touched, restaurants have no customers at all, looks like everyone left and the city is abandoned. Every day is just the same. we can't go anywhere, can't go near anyone just stay at home doing nothing. The only connection we have is social media. The only way we contact everyone.

I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating non-stop. My head sprung up when I heard knocking on my window. I didn't know who it was, the curtains were closed. My heart started pounding when I heard screaming from the same direction yelling "help me please open up!!" I opened the curtains seeing a woman being infected by what it looked like a middle-aged man. He attacked her to the ground like he was her meal and starting spitting on her face. I was too disgusted to move, I shoved hand sanitizer all on my windows, don't know why. It was in the middle of the night. I felt so bad for her but in the end, if I would have let her in she might have already had the virus but maybe didn't know. The man then pranced his head on the window, breathing heavily, u could see the air slowly leaving his mouth. I shut the curtains so tight I didn't end up going to sleep cause I could still hear him breathing. I felt like he wasnt going to leave any time soon. I shut my door and crept to the lounge putting the tv on.

My Remote Controlled Life

I was already running late for school, prancing out the door I speed down the street and a bug flew in my eye. I fell onto the ground butt first and into the gutter. My eyes went down and a broken remote fell between my legs. I looked up and around after this was thrown by me, no one was there. I picked it up without any sign. It felt so light like plastic. At the back of it was a carving of some logo but it was scratched and torn. I noticed there were only four buttons. it looked ancient, but they never had remotes back then. I chucked my pocket and walked slowly to school. Out of know where everything was behind me and I was in the main office at school. HOW DID I GET HERE! one minute I was down my street the next minute I'm at school. How did this happen, I was speechless.

Child Trafficking

I chose this subject because it really interested me in how they had such power towards people. We had to take notes about each question before starting the presentation. We carefully looked at each website seeing if they were good questions to use instead of choosing random ones. I read them and took notes out of it and put them into some kind of paragraph. Each question shows how they did this or did that.

Mirror, Mirror

What would happen if your mirror came to life and starting commenting on your look in the morning?
What would it say?

How would you respond?
I was overthinking about what I should wear for the party. My room was infested with clothes that were just thrown around like nothing. "ugh before you leave, clean this pigsty of a mess" I spun my head directly to where that noise came from and fell to the ground screaming as I saw that my mirror come to life! I thought that only happens in movies. "nonsense now, go change into that fit by the dresser sister" it wasn't as scary as I thought. I slowly crept over to get the outfit and hid to change. "mhm sister that looks fine on you" I fluttered with embarrassment and smiled shyly speaking under my breath "thanks" I don't know how my mirror can suddenly speak but it knew fashion. "don't thank me if you wouldn't have brought that you would have been done, sis. now hurry to the party your going to miss it" I was speechless I was about to say something but the party had already started and I was in a rush.

World Traveler

Take one period in class max to find out some information about your random country that will inform your writing.
We arrived early before the siting started. They welcomed us into their country with respect and were so kind. The good thing about it was there was going to be amazing views upon us, the bad thing was we were staying in a motel full of termites. We got up first thing in the morning and out the door. The food was delicious. The folks made a traditional meal from china. They made a dish called 'Kung Pao Chicken' its basically a stir-fried dish made with cubes, chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers. I was full for the whole day. We ended up going on a tour and animal sitting around china. The trees were covered in pink little flowers swaying through the air. It looked like I was in a movie. Never trust me with money. I nearly spent all my money on the things that were there and my bag was already stuffed with ornaments and traditional clothing. The weather was a nice hot day, not too hot, not too cold. It was getting dark fast so we decided to go back to the place we were staying, unstuff out bags and fell asleep.

Athletics day

On athletics day we dressed up in our house colors. Riroriro (blue), Mohua (yellow), Tieke (red). We watched everyone race and cheering them out. We ended up not doing the athletics but supported them throughout the way. I liked how we switched courses but took time in between to get a break.
