Infected

The man leans into you. There is a dark red almost black color to the whites of his eye. He is so close his nose is almost touching your nose. You can feel his breath when he says "We all have it here. We are all infected"

After that incident, everyone has gone into isolation. Malls are dead silent, roads look like they've never been touched, restaurants have no customers at all, looks like everyone left and the city is abandoned. Every day is just the same. we can't go anywhere, can't go near anyone just stay at home doing nothing. The only connection we have is social media. The only way we contact everyone.

I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating non-stop. My head sprung up when I heard knocking on my window. I didn't know who it was, the curtains were closed. My heart started pounding when I heard screaming from the same direction yelling "help me please open up!!" I opened the curtains seeing a woman being infected by what it looked like a middle-aged man. He attacked her to the ground like he was her meal and starting spitting on her face. I was too disgusted to move, I shoved hand sanitizer all on my windows, don't know why. It was in the middle of the night. I felt so bad for her but in the end, if I would have let her in she might have already had the virus but maybe didn't know. The man then pranced his head on the window, breathing heavily, u could see the air slowly leaving his mouth. I shut the curtains so tight I didn't end up going to sleep cause I could still hear him breathing. I felt like he wasnt going to leave any time soon. I shut my door and crept to the lounge putting the tv on.
