Critical Literacy

What is critical literacy?

Critical literacy is one of the key perspectives that informs my teaching, research, and thinking. something that gives us information. Visual, written, or oral text.

What is Bias?
bias may be favorable or unfavorable

Source
a place where we get information from 

Credible
able to be believed, trying to convince someone

Authority
the power or right to give orders, make decisions

Reliable
to be trusted

Perspective
different ways of seeing something, your point of view 

Agenda
a list of items to be discussed at a formal meeting

Manipulate
handle or control in a skillful manner.

Text
anything written, published, printed, 

Constructed
something that is put together or built

Representation 
the showing picturing of something in a work of art

Stereotype
what you think they are. your standards.

Inclusion
something being included

Exclusion 
the act or process of excluding

Masculine
having something to do with a man/boy

Feminine
having to do something with a woman/girl
